**Job Description:**
As a Hotel Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the hotel, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service and that financial transactions are accurately recorded. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our financial records while providing excellent service to our guests.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform nightly audits of hotel transactions, ensuring all accounts balance accurately and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Process all guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handling reservations, cancellations, and changes promptly.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and distribute daily summary reports for hotel management, highlighting occupancy rates, revenue reports, and potential issues.
- Reconcile and post charges to guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Monitor hotel security and safety by conducting regular walks through the property and responding to emergency situations if needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experiences.
- Ensure all hotel policies, procedures, and standards are followed consistently.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in hospitality or accounting preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or audit operations is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
