NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY

JOB COACH- TEMPORARY SUMMER POSITION

The Warren County Department of Workforce Development is seeking qualified candidates for the temporary position of Job Coach.  The Job Coach is responsible for developing job readiness skills and providing employment opportunities for youth via the Summer Youth Employment Program.  In addition, the employee coordinates the youth/employer relationship and visits the worksites of youth to support progress of youth placements.  Work is performed under the general supervision of a supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and either:

1. 30 credits or more of post high school coursework; or
2. One year of experience in the field of education, staff counselor services or related field; or
3. An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B).

NOTE:Verifiable part-time or volunteer experience will be accepted on a pro-rated basis.

RESIDENCY:Residency in Warren County or a contingent County is required.

SALARY:The hourly rate is $21.67 and the position is June to August, 2026.  Exact dates negotiable.

The position will be filled based upon Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with an exam to be held at a later date. Candidate must meet Civil Service requirements for appointment following the establishment of the Eligible List.
