DP World North America is a growing global contract logistics provider with operations in over 40 countries at 95 separate sites within Automotive and Technology divisions. We operate highly complex and technical 4-walled warehouses for our global clients.
The Sr. Operations Launch Manager plays a critical role during a period of rapid growth for DP World Contract Logistics across the U.S. and Mexico. This position leads the operational execution of new-site launches, ensuring scalable, high - performing, and compliant operations that align with DP World’s launch blueprint and global performance standards. Working closely with the Launch Director, the Sr. Operations Launch Manager oversees cross - functional launch teams, drives operational readiness, and ensures cohesive delivery of the full launch plan—from design through go - live and stabilization. This role integrates disciplined Lean methodologies, industrial engineering rigor, and strong program leadership to establish sustainable operations that meet customer, safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
Launch Leadership & Operational Execution
- Oversee full operational scope for new-site launches, including labor planning, workflow design, productivity ramp - up, material flow, and operational readiness.
- Lead and coordinate functional launch teams (e.g., inbound, outbound, VAS, inventory, quality, IT) to achieve program goals, timelines, and readiness milestones.
- Ensure consistent application of DP World operational standards, SOPs, and best practices across all assigned launches.
- Own cross-functional checkpoints, risk reviews, and escalation paths to the Launch Director.
- Troubleshoot issues during pre - launch testing, go - live, and stabilization; drive rapid corrective actions.
