This position is located at the Los Angeles Investigations Office in Los Angeles.

Under close supervision of the Supervising Investigator, in the LA Metro District Office, the Special Investigator Assistant directly supports the activities and responsibilities of the district office and activities specific to Assembly Bill (AB) 60.

This Limited Term position may be extended to 24 months and may become Permanent.

The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions

The incumbent works in an office cubicle setting. Requires daily use of a personal computer and related software applications as a workstation.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

• Selected candidate will be required to participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program.
